Projected Reality is a live visual production studio in Orange County. We design lighting, FDA-variance lasers and projection around your room and your music, then run the show live for bands, DJs, venues and events. No lengthy pre-production, priced for small rooms, and timecoded when a show has to land identically every night.

02 — Scroll to run the show
Scroll and the show builds: cues fire in order, the timecode counts, the room fills. Most nights we run it live instead, an operator playing the same designed looks to the music in the room. Timecode is the upgrade for tours, streams and launches that must land identically every night.

03 — Laser shows
A show designer runs the lasers live to the music in the room, from designed looks built in Pangolin BEYOND, no lengthy pre-production needed. Laser is a regulated medium and we treat it that way: beam zones, audience exclusion, divergence and power levels are engineered before the first beam.

The default: an operator at the desk busking designed looks to the music, reacting to the room in real time. No timecode, no weeks of planning. The upgrade: timecoded cue stacks for tours, livestreams and launches that must play back identically every night.

Projection-mapped architecture, the screen behind the artist, live visuals mixed to the music, generative textures and audio-reactive motion, all planned with the surfaces and playback so the idea works in the actual space.
Light hits harder when every look has a purpose. We play the room like an instrument: blackout, hit, chase, sweep, drop, live to the music in the room, and on timecode only when it has to repeat.

A show designer builds the looks for your music: palettes, chases, laser frames and content, ready to play live from the desk. If the show must repeat identically, the same looks become a timecoded cue stack.

Projected Reality is led by Joe Faratzis, a veteran media producer, visual designer and show-systems builder.
Joe designs and builds production environments from the ground up, integrating cameras, lighting, lasers, projection, livestream infrastructure, automation and real-time show control into one coordinated system. Every blackout, transition and impact is part of the same performance.
Also the founder of Radiant14, a cancer-awareness community of more than 70,000 followers.
06 — Who it's for
You don't need an arena budget to feel like an arena. An operator with designed looks, lighting direction, haze, lasers and projection makes a 200-cap room hit like a festival main stage, for one night, with no lengthy pre-production.

Straight answers to the questions every producer asks first.
No. Feasibility depends on the space, the proposed effects, venue permissions and applicable operating requirements. We review those before confirming a show, and we operate under an FDA variance where required.
Yes. Live, we run lighting and lasers together to the music from a single desk. With a fixed soundtrack the whole show can also be timecoded across lighting, lasers and video, so every hit lands on the frame.
Live is the default. A show designer plays designed looks to the music in the room, with no lengthy pre-production, which is how most one-night shows, DJ sets and bands work with us. Timecoded playback is the upgrade for tours, livestreams and launches that must land identically every run. Some productions mix both.
